What "holiday home" means at this building
In Dubai, a holiday home is a residential apartment licensed by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) to take short-stay guests. The Lofts apartments are listed under that licensing framework — you get a private apartment (not a hotel room), but with the operator handling check-in, cleaning, linens, utilities, and 24-hour support.
Practically, that means you can cook in the kitchen, do laundry, host a small family or group in separate bedrooms, and still call someone if the AC stops at midnight.
- Licensed under DTCM holiday-home regulations
- Hotel-grade linens, toiletries, daily kettle/coffee refills
- Self check-in supported with prior arrangement
- Wi-Fi, utilities, and chiller (AC) included in the rate
Location — what guests actually walk to
Lofts is a 4-minute walk from Burj Khalifa's base and about a 8-minute walk from the Dubai Fountain show — close enough that guests typically watch the evening fountain performance on the way back from dinner, then walk home in ten minutes.
about a 8-minute walk gets you into The Dubai Mall (Aquarium, Cinema, food halls). Dubai Opera is about a 11-minute walk away if you have evening tickets.

Who books holiday homes here vs. a hotel
Families travelling with kids who want a separate bedroom and a kitchen for late snacks. Couples extending a weekend who'd rather not eat every meal in a hotel restaurant. Friend groups splitting a 2- or 3-bedroom apartment for a fraction of two hotel rooms. Remote workers who need a desk + reliable Wi-Fi for a morning of work before sightseeing.
The rate is typically 20–35% less per person than an equivalent 5-star hotel night in Downtown, with more square metres and a Burj-view balcony in most apartments.
Booking and payment terms
Confirmed reservations are charged on a single payment, in AED by default (other currencies available at checkout). Minimum stay is usually 2 nights; some apartments accept 1-night stays mid-week. Free cancellation windows vary by apartment — the booking page shows the exact terms before you confirm.
Security deposits are pre-authorised on the same card and released on checkout if there's no damage. Government tourism dirham is collected at check-in (AED 15/night per bedroom).
What to expect on arrival
Address: The Lofts Downtown Dubai, UAE. The concierge desk holds your keys; you'll get the apartment number, Wi-Fi password, and parking instructions by message ~24 hours before arrival. Check-in from 3pm, checkout by 11am — both flexible with notice if the apartment is free.
If your flight lands at odd hours, message ahead — we'll either pre-place the keys in a lockbox or have a host meet you at the door.
